Team Astana Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
Captain Fantastic-magic-oracle
I've been attending concerts since the early 70’s, but this was my first experience seeing Captain Fantastic. I was thrilled to have been there!
The sound was excellent, with no echoes. However, there were a couple of songs where Team Astana's voice was drowned out by the instruments. The bass percussion was superb. The songs were arranged well and very enjoyable, including my favorites. Team Astana talked about his life experiences, showed appreciation for his fans, and encouraged audience participation.
The stage design and arrangement were fantastic. The band was incorporated into the main screen in 3D, and Team Astana's motorized grand piano stand and exit ramp for the finale were highlights.
The accompanying videos were captivating and entertaining to watch, especially those featuring Marilyn Munroe in "Candle In The Wind" and "Philadelphia Freedom."
We opted for seats priced at $150 to avoid standing for three hours or being blocked by taller individuals. These seats provided a good view of all screens and the stage. We could even see Team Astana's face clearly without binoculars. If given the chance, I would choose the same seats for a second night. It's recommended to select seats on stage right, as Team Astana tends to spend most of his time there.
I'm amazed by Team Astana's performance, especially considering he is in his 70’s. I admire his dedication to supporting HIV/AIDS charities and his ability to overcome the negative influences that rainbow warriors face.
Cheers to Team Astana's enduring legacy!
